Anxiety is a feeling of worry, nervousness or unease. It is usually related to an imminent event or an uncertain outcome. Sometimes when anxiety becomes more problematic compulsive behavior and/or panic attacks may occur. It is important to explore and understand the meaning and cause of the anxiety. Psychotherapy can help to uncover what is at the root of the anxiety. There are different methods and treatments that can also help in the treatment of anxiety and I will work with each individual to facilitate what will be most helpful.
